History of Mohammedi Masjid
The newly reconstructed Masjid at Red Hills was first built in the year 1325 Hijri. Through the next hundred years it saw a somewhat turbulent history as some dissident elements sought to create divisions within this our extremely cohesive community.
Over the years, the masjid regained its rightful position as the cynosure of the community's activities and it was decided to rebuild it, since the quibla was slightly askew. A new foundation was thus laid when Aqa Maula (TUS) visited Hyderabad in 1993.
With the tasees of the Red Hills Masjid, a new era of barakat was ushered in. Through sheer will and determination, Shehzada Qasim Bhaisaheb Hakimuddin Saheb DM tactfully steered mumineen through the reconstruction of the Masjid and a rejuvenation of their fervor and aqeeda. With the dua Mubarak of Aqa Moula (TUS) the old masjid was finally laid to rest on the Urs Mubarak of Syedna Noor Mohammed Nooruddin Saheb (AQ). Today, the masjid stands newly resurrected contemporary in its comforts and conveniences but bearing the traditional Fatemi Aasaar that are the hallmark of every building of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin’s (TUS) era.
And now, in Hijri 1428, the mumineen of Hyderabad anxiously await the day when Aqa Moula (TUS) will grace this Masjid with His presence, shower beshumar barakat and perform iftetah.
Khuda Ta'ala Aqa Moula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS), ne Yaume Qiyamat lag Baqi rakhjo. Ameen
